Mouth of the Cave

“Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only transform itself. Our knowledge of energy is merely a description of this process of transformation.”

-Bruce Burger

Here is a little practice:

First- Put your attention into the center of your pelvis. You may want to place your hands on your low belly and focus your breathe and awareness there.

And now imagine right in the center…

The light itself (not the objects that are lit)

Or image a wellspring, the place right where it emerges from the earth,

(But don’t get distracted by everything the water nourishes.)

Or imagine a fire, and not even a roaring fire, but that split second before the combustion catches hold of the fuel. (But for now don’t worry about everything that receives the warmth.)

What is that moment as energy changes from one state to another? What is the vibrational resonance?

I am so curious to make friends with this tipping point of transformation. Right at the meeting, right at the gate, right at the mouth of the cave.

And my sense is that one of the many places we can strongly connect to this process is in the center of our pelvis. Feel that for yourself, what do you notice?

Can you stay there awhile?

The manifest things they have room for their expression and life span, but what if we turn again and again towards the energetic resonance of transformation?

The continuously unfolding becoming

The transition point of what is leaving and what is coming.
